Soul Clap and Dance-Off // Eclectic // 10 PM

Get ready to listen — or perhaps, dance — to a meticulously selected collection of 45s of the 1960s soul variety. Jonathan Toubin will be bringing New York Night Train's Soul Clap and Dance-Off to us this Saturday. Watson Frick will be opening with a delicious DJ set before Jonathan Toubin freely disc-jockeys until the dance-off, and he'll do some more spinnin' until 2am (or until y'all clear the building). The winner will get a prize. What? Come and get down to find out! Scope some more info here.

LIVE recording of JONATHAN TOUBIN turning his flaming o.g. 45rpm soul platters at the SOUL CLAP and DANCE-OFF at BROOKLYN BOWL - with a train sound added at the beginning to cover the transition into the first song.... RAW AWESOMENESS! 1. Eddie Kirk "The Hawg" (Volt) 2.
