Last Saturday, WESU hosted their first suite of off-campus artists in years at Westco Café: June McDoom and her band played a set of surreal and earthy songs for guitar, electric organ, and synth loops; after that, Bloomsday played pastoral soft rock that could have been from the same neck of the woods as McDoom’s songs. Student band Gert opened with a set of heavier original rock songs. Below are some choice photos from Max Levin ‘25 and Elijah Davis ‘26 - enjoy!
Ironically, Max - who was born on Bloomsday - was not here for the band Bloomsday. oh well
