Duchampion is a band that formed at Wesleyan University in the fall of 2009. It’s members include Jake Nussbaum, Will Brant, Asa Horvitz, and Ben Seretan (all 2010). Their debut full-length album is available at duchampion.bandcamp.com. In 2006 Ben and Asa almost started a Dead Kennedys cover band. Instead, they waited three years – during which they studied with Anthony Braxton and Alvin Lucier, performed Indian music, Javanese Gamelan, and Gregorian Chant, did experimental theater in Europe and at home, and toured America in country bands– to recruit Wesleyan legends Jake and Will and form Duchampion at Wesleyan University in 2009.
